Just for the sake of it!

Mom is running around in a frenzy trying to get ready for our beach trip. Woo hoo! But, unfortunately that means that she doesn't have much time to celebrate my 8 week old birthday...I told her that is OK because we have the rest of the week to celebrate. I can't wait to go to the beach again and promise lots more pics soon!

Ah wella, wella, wella...uh! Play date # 2 was a blast! That Elly sure was a cutie. Just one problem....I was quite opposed to the chick to dude ratio. Elly was the only hot babe at the whole darn function! I'm hoping Elly's mom, Miss Lang, will put a good word in for me. I sure would like to beat out that Harrison and Jackson and get me a little sugar next time!

These are pictures of me and my big brother, Butler. He got neutered this week. I hear that is a fancy word for castrated. YIKES! I am going to go ahead and put it on record...whatever you do, PLEASE DO NOT NEUTER ME ALSO. LET ME REPEAT, DO NOT TOUCH!!!!! I wish to remain in one piece, OK?

Dear Lord. This growing old stuff is tiring. I sure don't have the energy I did in my younger weeks and looking around so much is definitely wearing me out. I slept over 7 hours straight on my 6 week old birthday. Just couldn't seem to stir up enough energy to cry out for my Mama to come and get me. Good news though...I am now of age. Yep. That's right! I can legally drink now....milk that is! But shhhhhhhhhhh! Please don't tell my Daddy! I told Daddy and Harrison's Dad, Mr. Brett, that we were old enough to knock down a few cold brewskies, and those fools actually believed me. I think Harrison is a little confused about his heritage....he thinks he is Mexican. Go figure. Speaking of cerveza's...Daddy's friends keep asking him when the Wombat can come out and play. Wombat is what Dad's friends call him when they have a guy's night out. Mom found this Womab book for me and just had to have it. She gave it to me & Dad on my 6 week old b'day today. Speaking of nicknames, Mommy calls me "Buddy Boop, Sweetness and Love Bug." How cheezy are those names. I sure wish she would come up with something a little more mature and sophisticated now that I am "legal."

Perdido Key or Bust!

Happy Belated 4th of July to all my bloggers!! I spent my holiday weekend down in Perdido Beach with my family. Mommy, Daddy, and I all stayed at Pop and MeMe's condo and I made a whole bunch of new friends. The only regret I have is not making an appearance at the FloraBama, but maybe next time. One Month Old and Wise Beyond My Weeks

Believe it or not today is my birthday.... again. That's right today I turned ONE month old. I can hardly believe it myself. Daddy cooked drunk chicken on the big green egg and Mommy had several Margaritas to celebrate my big day! I'm such a wise little guy at the ripe old age of 4 weeks... I have started smiling at my parents....they love it!!!!!!! Didn't take me long to figure out one teeny little smile can get me whatever I want.....Irresistable I tell you! It's my Birthday, I can cry if I want to...

I'm going to knock out the next person who pounds me on my back....SERIOUSLY!!!! Who convinced you people that burping a baby feels good? I'm such a "green" baby...check out my cool environmental friendly G Diapers. And NO... my bum is not covered in Auburn orange..or Tennesse orange for that matter!

Just kicking it on my new screened in porch! Feels good to relax for a change....oh yeah I do that most of the time any how. Oh well...still feels good!

Adventures Galore!

Well Duh! Of course I had another adventurous week. Mommy and Daddy wouldn't have it any other way. Mommy takes me on all of her errands, which is really cool. I especially like Target....they have lots of toys!!!! Sometimes Mommy shoves me in somthing called a sling, which is kind of like taking a wild ride back in her tummy. You ask what else...as if errands were not adventurous enough? Well, I attended my first ever wedding which was quite beautiful if I may say so myself. May I also add that I was so well behaved and looked very handsome in my outfit. And if that still wasn't enough I posed for my first real life photo shoot, went to lunch with some of Mommy's friends and met several new visitors. However, my very favorite thing this week was my first ever play date with Harrison & Jackson. We all cried a little, fussed a little, sucked our pacis (sp?) together and even played the silent game a good bit. It is simply amazing how much fun I can have laying next to my two buddies and completly pretending like they don't exist. Imagine how much fun we will have when I can actually turn my head to look at them.

Week 3 = A Fussy Little Me

Well the honeymoon ended for my parents this week, but they say they still love me. I decided to finally wake up, and much to mom and dad's surprise I actually want to be held 100% of the time....well at least 90%. Good thing my lungs function great b/c I can yell loud enough to be heard from practically anywhere....I found that is a great way to get attention. Who says a three week old can't communicate effectively?

As for week 3 firsts - I FINALLY got my first tummy Zerbert. It was so funny....kind of tickles. Mom said she waited to give me that long awaited Zerbert until my stump fell off. She said it was nasty and wanted no part of it before now. I also received my first real bath!

My First Doctor's Visit - YUK!!!

I went to the doc yesterday. I was really, really, really not fond of the needle. In fact, I thought that I did a darn good job expressing my displeasure when they pricked my heel. Hopefully Mom, Dad and the Doctor got the picture and will keep needles far away from me in the future! Hint, Hint! But, besides me throwing my little fit (well maybe explosion would be a better description), Dr. Smith thought that I looked great! Can you believe that I had already grown 2 inches in 2 weeks and gained just under one pound? My official measurements are now a whopping 9.08 lbs and 23 inches long, plus look at my FINE looking chest below. Ladies....any takers? I'm available!

Another Week, Another Birthday!

Happy B'day to me...again! Week 2 has come and gone, and it made Mommy a little sad. But, we celebrated anyway -- Yates' style. The whole family went to eat Japenese to celebrate my 2 week b'day. Daddy is starting me early on fried rice (don't freak...not really!). Coach & Gran also gave me a b'day gift...I am going to love my snuggly bear.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!!!

I have the bestest Daddy in the world. I hope he had a great first Father's Day...doing yard work :) Good thing we are both Bama fans...only way to go if you ask me!

Oh me, Oh my!!!

Wow what a week. Shew...it was great fun but it sure did fly by! I'm starting to open up my eyes a little more regularly and my bowel movements ("BM's") are now fierce and frequent! In fact, last night I shot Daddy's hands, shorts, the carpet, the door etc. I would wait until Daddy got me all cleaned up and then blast him again.....it was a tri fecta. Tee Hee. Mom thinks I just may have a future in paint ball :)

I went to Nana's house for the very fist time. She showed my my room at her house, complete with crib and rocker and my play closet. I plan to spend lots of time there...it looks like it will be so much fun. I also went to the mall for the very first time and took my first trip to Cousin Claire's house to celebrate her 2nd birthday. I can't wait to play with Claire and Ashley when I get a little bigger. And of course, the visitors keep coming!

This is me in the day gown that Aunt Marie made for me. Thank you sooo much. I love it! Here I am with my pal Jackson. He is almost 4 months old. Think I'll be that big at his age? I'm a little scared of him right now. He is a giant. And here is me, Aunt Ashley & Jackson. Mommy is jealous of how skinny she already is after just having her baby boy, Jackson.
