Another one on the move!

Sorry we haven't posted in a few weeks. We have been super busy, especially worrying about Grandad! Sadly he has been diagnosed with Stage IV bladder cancer. He is going to fight hard and actually started chemo today. Please pray for Grandad.

On a happier note, Courtland officially has his first two teeth and started crawling last week. Though, he is like his mommy and has come up with a unique technique of his own.  He gets into the plank position (FYI..his abs are quite strong from all of the crying he did his first 7 months so he can hold it an impressive length of time) and then he lunges forward with his shoulders.  After he drops, he starts the process again....kind of looks like a worm moving...Quite cute!  Emerson is really starting to put sentences together and getting much better at saying what he wants, which makes for less whining.  Yay!  He still loves to boogie and eat fruit! Enjoy our random pics below!

Check out my nice physique!

Emerson loves to play outside, eat outside, watch TV outside, etc. etc.  Here he is eating breakfast and watching cartoons with the pups desperately waiting for him to drop even the smallest morsel of food!

Who says dog doors aren't for humans..i fit through ours quite nicely!

The infamous plank position!!!

Yes, we know.  Watching TV this close is bad for the eyes!
All the boys crashed out!

Easter Fun

We had lots on fun on Easter hanging out with family.  Courtland is somehow very mobile, but he doesn't crawl yet.  He just scoots and roles to his destinations.  He is a Mommy's boy right now, but unfortunately I'm sure that will change as Emerson is 100% all about his Daddy! Court is quite the inquisitive little man...in to everything.  He LOVES to stand (almost all by himself) and loves to be held! Overall, his personality is really starting to shine! Emerson is talking up a storm and dancing any chance he gets....so cute and funny to watch him get those arms going 90-to-nothing.  His favorite new animal sound is that of a rooster. His response, of course, is "Doo-Doo" in a really high pitched voice...what else would a rooster say?  He loves to point out trucks and planes, his new obsessions, and he LOVES to eat pizza. Blueberries come in a close second. Emerson wasn't too fond of the Rabbit (AKA Easter Bunny)...As a matter of fact he was petrified.  NO matter how many times he told himself "Rabbit Nice!"  he was scared to get anywhere near him.  And a big thanks to Gran for making the boys precious blue Easter outfits.  They looked adorable in them!  Lots of hours were put into those outfits but they turned out perfect.  Well, enjoy the many pics!
