B'day Parties Galore

Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to get outside and enjoy the spring like weather - FINALLY!  From the zoo to several b'day parties to brunch at the Club, there was not a dull moment!  Courtland is getting very social these days!  He loves to stand (not sit) and watch his hero his big bro!  Let me also brag on him...he has started sleeping much better (though we still wake up a good bit at night) and he has been standing, supporting his own weight for several months now!  Very early to hit this milestone.  He may just skip crawling all together and move right to walking like his Daddy!  Emerson's vocabulary is exploding and he is becoming quite the bossy little man.  He strings simple sentences together (albeit many are commands) and knows most animals and their respective noises.  He loves the song "Wheels on the Bus" and "Old McDonald."  He also likes his brother to sit next to him while he watches Baby Einstein, etc.  Emerson's favorite foods these days are blueberries, grapes, meat (he's got the Pilgrim genes here for sure), scrambled eggs, and his version of a "breakfast burrito." They are too cute!

Emerson and his girlfriend at school, Emily, had a grand time at Jack's B'day party!  They spend half the party holding hands and the other half chasing each other!

Mardi Gras 2010

Mardi Gras 2010!  Whoot!  Beads, Candy, Moon Pies...What more could you ask for?  We had fun watching all the parades and didn't let the cold weather (or snow) hold us back one bit!  We wish it could be Christmas and Mardi Gras every week!  Thanks Pop and Meme!!!!
