Baby Shower

Mom added a few pics today to this previous post. Enjoy and thanks again for all my wonderful gifts. I am enjoying them so much already and I'm only 1 week old. Thanks to all of mom's great friends, they threw me the best baby shower. I got lots of cool things (clothes, monitor, gift certificates, glider, etc.) My mom's Godmother, Jeannie, took most of the pics. Mom will add more photos later once she gets those from Miss Jeannie. But here is one she found on her camera of LeeAnne and her. LeeAnne has been Mommy's crisis hotline contact for any pregnancy questions/issues.

Cord Blood Banking

Mommy & Daddy have made the decision to bank my cord blood. In the unfortunate event that I develop a life-threatening disease, hopefully my own stem cells can be used to treat my illness. Sounds complicated to me, but I'm glad they are doing it. They have chosen to use CBR (Cord Blood Registry) because of that company's experience and success with actual samples. If anybody is interested, here is their website: http://cordblood.com/ If you are interested in banking your own bambino's cord blood, use Mommy as a referreal and it will save you each $150...so let her know! That's money that can go to my college fund!!! Also, here is a link to video that prompted Daddy to investigate cord blood banking further. He saw this story on the Today Show one morning before work. Dallas Hextell "was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, but is now showing fewer signs of the disorder and marked improvement after an infusion of his own stem cells" — made possible by the preservation of his own cord blood with Cord Blood Registry. http://cordblood.com/popups/hextell_today_show.htm

My Big Brothers

Bear and Butler are chillin' in my room anxiously awaiting my arrival in their "Big Brother" Tees. I hope Butler doesn't chew up all my toys before I get there. Mommy says he can be a bad boy sometimes, but Daddy says he is just a baby himself.

Look at me!!!

Here I am in my Mommy's belly at 32 weeks. I'm already getting used to having my picture taken. Mom says I can't make any weird faces at my next photo shoot in a few weeks. She says the doc wants to look at me to make sure I'm not getting too big for her belly....Mommy hopes my size means I'm going to be a tall boy when I grow up....but, she says the odds are stacked against me. What does that mean?

My Futre BFF's

Here is Mommy at 20 weeks with Miss Ashley & Miss Angel. They were prego in this picture too (obviously)...though I hear Jackson & Harrison have already arrived. Mommy says Jackson & Harrison will be my bestest friends in the world...but to beware and not let them corrupt me. I hear I am supposed to be the "good one."
