Destin 2009

Yes! Finally! My first beach trip of 2009...which in my opinion was long overdue. We went to San Destin for the long Easter weekend to join Cousins Alex and Niki on their Spring Break. And boy oh boy did we have fun. I loved strolling down to the beach with the wind running through my hair...but I do have a little secret! I absolutely abhor the sand and the cold, cold pool. Don't want them near me...not even close! Anyway, we had a great time and I'm ready to go back! Took lots of pics so enjoy!

10 Months Old

Can you believe Grandad turned 7o the other day? Nana planned him a surprise b'day party. He showed up a tad early, but he was still surprised. I had so much fun visiting with everyone....the next day Nana kept me while Daddy, Grandad and the ATL gang went to the Davis Cup.

Ultrasound Photo Shoot

Hey guys...I guess at some point I will have to stop talking in first person b/c Mom says it is not fair to Baby Yates II since we will be sharing the same website...though, it is still named after me :) Anyway, my lil bro went to the doc today to have his picture taken again. He looks great and is measuring right on schedule...not too big, not too small, but just right. Check out his pics below. I'm such a proud big brother!

Well it is official. I'm going to have a little bro! I'm very excited. I know he will be my best bud....Mom will download pics of the ultrasound soon, but I just had to go ahead and spill the beans. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

Well, color me happy I got to experience my first snow this past Sunday. And all I can say is brrrrr. All the neighbors were out building snowmen, but not me. I took a few pics in the white stuff (b/c Mom & Dad made me), but other than that I had no interest in getting that cold and wet. It was pretty though. As far as I go...I know, I know, it's always about me, but how can I not brag. I can crawl now. I official started last Saturday (2/21) in Mobile but did not master the art of moving along until this past week....And boy have I mastered it. I already love getting into everything. Mom and Dad better childproof soon, b/c cabinets are quite the adventure. I also cut my second tooth on Fat Tuesday (2/24). As far as my sleeping patterns go, I'm still not sure why Mom & Dad don't just accept that I have decided to morph into a night owl. I say, sleep is for babies. I'm a big boy now.....They are rudely trying to change my habit b/c they say even if I don't need sleep, they do...but we'll see who wins out! Mom & Dad sure are determined to, as they would say, get me back on track. P.S. - Happy B'day to me today. I'm nine months old!
