T-Town Bound

Roll Tide! I went to T'loosa yesterday to tailgate on the Quad with mom and "Da-Deeee" (as I like to call my old pops). I had SOOO Much fun...nothing but grins and giggles from me all day. From playing with my cousins Ashley and Claire, to high-fiving and/or waiving at all the peeps on the quad to dancing to the music, to eating way too much junk food I could not have had a better time. My parentals can't wait to take me back....
Look at my cool Bama outfit that Pop and Meme gave me...though some thought I was a little girl, I think I look like a stud in anything I wear! Haven't any of these people ever heard of "Boy Bubbles?"
Just practicing a little CPR on Ashley's baby doll....don't worry, I saved her!

Play Ball!!!

OK, just in case you are slow to pick up on things, Emerson LOVES balls! He literally must say ball 400 times a day. From football to tennis to ping pong, he is already mastering his skills thanks to his cousins Niki and Alex. The Yates clan hung with Emerson (and Courtland part of the time) while Mom and Dad went to ATL for the opening Bama game. Thank you to all! Nana did a great job taking pics....

I'm also a drummer like my daddy!
Who says you can't juggle tennis rackets?

Bama vs Virginia Tech

Mom and Dad drove over to ATL for the Bama - Virginia Tech game on Saturday. And yes, before you call them bad parents for leaving a 2 week old, they ensured we were left in good hands. Nana, Grandad, Aunt Debbi, Niki and Alex looked after Emerson while Gran looked after Courtland. So there, no need to miss a perfectly good Bama Victory!

Courtland's First Photo Shoot

Mom's photography teacher was so sweet to come over when Courtland was just 8 days old to take pics of the little man. Her name is Susanne King, and as you can see below she does wonderful work. Now, if only Mom could begin taking pics half this good she would be happy...guess Mom needs to stick to counting beans!
