Hometown Fair!

Good news! Courtland is still sleeping better and his fussy spell has passed...just hope they keep up! He really is getting cuter everyday and just smiling all the time now! Emerson still loves to take care of him and try to calm him when he is upset...too cute! On Saturday, Courtland went down to tailgate for his first ever Bama game....and he picked a good one b/c it was the UT-Bama game! He and Emerson did great, but Big Man took a little spill after the exciting win and got his first major boo-boo. Bless his heart, he had the biggest swolen lip I've ever seen and a big scab on top of his lip. Oh well, he's still a cutie! On Sunday, the Stewarts joined us at our neighborhood hometown fair. We had a blast and it was a beautiful day!
Sweet Baby Courtland!

Gran joined us for a bit to watch Emerson on the rides...

In case you haven't noticed, Emerson has reintroduced himself to bottles (we were off of them but hard when he sees little bro with them)...a battle we haven't fought again yet, but need to!

Courtland 9 Weeks & Zoo

Courtland had his first great night of sleep last night...almost made it through the night! Hope it continues! Yay! Also, we met Daddy at lunch and took Courtland on his first trip to the zoo....He pretended to be clueless but deep down we know he had the most fun ever!
Look at my sweet smile! Getting cuter everyday!
Mom finally put me in my cute smocked pumkpin outfit...Daddy is not a fan!
With the swine flu running rampid, Emerson is trying to lube Courtland up with the hand sanitizer . What a good big bro to protect little bro! (not really...I took from him quickly)
Courtland chilling out while being harrased by big bro!
Emerson planting big wet ones on his bro! Courtland thinks it is too funny!
OK, Emerson, enough kisses already. I want to sleep!
Who you looking at dude?
At the zoo....

Courtland 8 weeks old & Alabama Homecoming

Well Courtland is 2 months old...boy how time flies. He is still a sweet boy, but has gotten quite fussy lately :( We are hoping it is just a phase or linked to his stomach issues (dukies are not his friend...) Anyway, it has been so fun watching Courtland grow and Emerson being such a good big bro! Speaking of Emerson, his vocabulary is booming now. He loves to say Boggie (AKA doggie), Daddy (of Course), Mama (finally), BALL (always), Bite, ask "Wheres Baby", imitate monkeys and lions, ask for "bite" and "more", ask "what's this", etc. So fun watching him grow....and he LOVES rice like his daddy. Emerson also loves giving big sloppy kisses and hugs now....so sweet! Below are pics of AL homecoming (very cold day), a play date with Jackson, and random other pics!

Weekend at the Lake

Thanks to the Fields for inviting us to their mansion of a lake house....We had an absolute blast. With 10 kids under 5, how could the boys not have fun...and we had just as much. The festivities wore us all out....Emerson even took a 4 hour nap afterwards!

Just part of the gang watching the Bama game (Such a perfect weekend as the good guys, Bama, won and the bad guys, Auburn, lost)! Even Courtland was having fun...here he is flirting with the Camera

Emerson's First Field Trip

Mom joined Emerson for his first ever field trip, though he was a little young. He was the only one from his class that went to eat Firehouse subs after the fire truck came to visit them...Mom didn't realize he would be with the big kids but we had fun anyway!
Before the field trip, Mom took pics of Emerson with his classmates.
